One license. Every compression feature.
Free to download. The first ten files compress free; after that Dimin asks for a one-time license — no subscription. No account, no upload, nothing to configure.
Dimin license
One payment in USD — no subscription, no renewal, no plan tiers. The secure payment page shows this same number before you pay anything.
Not sure yet? The first ten files compress free in the app — download it first.
What happens after you click
01
A key appears
Clicking Buy mints your license key and shows it on this page. Copy it somewhere safe before paying — the payment page will not show it again.
02
Pay on the secure page
Continue to the payment provider. Your key is attached to the order, so the payment and the key cannot be separated.
03
Activate in Dimin
Open Dimin's License pane — Settings → License, or the activation screen on first launch — and paste the key.
What the license covers
Video, image, and GIF compression
Up to 90% smaller with FFmpeg, pngquant, and gifski — hardware-accelerated where your Mac allows it.
PDF compression
Ghostscript-backed, with the install offered and checked inside the app.
Export to MP4, WebM, and WebP
Or keep the original format. Transparent video stays transparent.
Batch compression
Queue a whole folder's worth and walk away. Progress in the Dock, a notification and a size summary at the end.
Drop Zone and folder monitoring
Drag files onto the notch to compress them, or point Dimin at a folder so new files compress on arrival.
Presets and history
Save your quality and format choices once; find every compression you have made since.
Output, your way
Custom output folders, filename patterns, auto-copy to the clipboard, or delete the inputs after.
Completely offline
Every byte is processed locally. Your files never leave your computer, and there is no account.
Questions
Is it a subscription?

What is free, exactly?

Where do I enter the key?
In Dimin: Settings → License, or the activation screen shown on first launch. The key works as soon as the payment completes.
What am I paying for, if the code is GPL-licensed?
