Dimin is an independent product
Dimin is an independent, open-source rebrand of ComprestoApp, the open-source base of CompressX by Dinh Quang Hieu. Dimin uses its own name, icon, and brand; it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CompressX, ComprestoApp, or their author.
The upstream project and its authors retain their rights in the original work. Dimin's changes are released under the same GPL-3.0 license.
Your files are yours
Dimin processes files you choose, on your computer. It claims no ownership in your content and does not send it anywhere. You keep your originals unless you replace them — deleting or replacing an original is your choice, so make sure you have what you need before you do.
Use at your own risk
Compression changes files. Test on a copy first if the result matters, and keep backups of anything you care about. Dimin is provided as-is under the GPL-3.0, without warranty of any kind.
